People are leaving jobs faster than ever.
They often leave because they are bored, don’t see a future at the company, or there’s conflict with others at work. These are not new reasons. What’s different is the quick reaction when employees recognize dissatisfaction in these areas. They see other options out there and they jump.
Because so many workers want to stay home or work in a hybrid format, it can be difficult for managers and leaders to engage employees and see what’s going on.
Luckily, there are ways to engage employees and prepare them with skills that will increase their chances of withstanding our working through tough times or negative emotions. One is mental fitness training.
Some companies offer licenses to apps like Calm or Headspace that allow employees to build skills on their own. Others like Microsoft, Pinterest, Nestle and more offer 6+ week training programs in Positive Intelligence. Participants in all of these programs see improvements in performance, happiness and resilience and employers enjoy greater retention. And the commitment is often just a small amount of daily practice.
My team offers career coaching in conjunction with mental fitness training. Call or write for a free consultation! https://lnkd.in/gEwzKBci
